Pads UK is launched
"Pads" - a new organisation dedicated to brining psychological assistance dogs to the UK has been formed and is working with other assistance dog organisation to address the challenge of getting acceptance in the UK for support and assistance dogs for depression and other psychological conditions. PADs UK is working to establish itself as an effective assistance dog charity here in the UK and are speaking with other assistance dog charities, mental health professionals, and legal experts. At this time they have no estimated date for beginning operations, but they are encouraging interested parties to contact them with questions, concerns, and feedback.
